Strathgordon Trek
The most remembered TasTrek trek would be the trip to Strathgordon where we took a five-seater car with 6 people in it!!
We have been to Strathgordon 3 times in the last few years. It is usually visited after we try to walk to the Lake Edgar Scarpe.
The Dam at Strathgordon is about 110 meters across and about 150 meters deep (a looooooong way down!) - we spent about half an hour and also spent about $5 pelting 10c and 20c pieces off the dam into the gorge below.
A couple of us decided to see what was in the scrub behind the Toilet at the Needles BBQ area on the way to Strathgordon, the track didn’t go far, but before that we came across the above sign, made out of little rocks and there aren’t that many rocks in the area!
