We visited Lake Seal, in the Broad River Valley, which is inside the Mt. Field National Park.
The Broad River Valley was formed by glacial action, and as a result the area is pretty rocky, and there are quite a few glacial tarns and small lakes in the National Park.
Lake Seal (Broad River Valley in the distance)
A fairly easy walk up a dirt, road, then following an easy (but rocky) trail along to the top of the valley. Good views all round…
