Oooh it’s been a while since we’ve done a TasTrek bushwalk… and this one is different!
This weekend, 16th/17th January 2009, marks the 2nd generation of TasTrekkers to step in to the worn tracks and head off in to the wilderness with us…
Sienna, Mike & Myself (Richard) are off to Wineglass Bay for an overnighter - it’s been 18 months since I last went on a serious walk - I have my new Mont backpack, and some new gear here and there, it’ll be interesting to see how I go.
Sienna is so excited she’s jumping out of her skin - she’s got her backpack to… weighing in at a hefty 4kg - hopefully she can carry it up the hill ok. My backpack is weighing in at a slender 23kg so far.
Stay tuned, all going well, we’ll have some good photos, and a story to tell by the end of the weekend.
